The Lens Weavers are specially trained PsiComp operatives, equipped with the most advanced Biotek and Metatek augmentations. While technically these operatives are Avatars of much larger Metatek vessels, the vessels themselves are kept embedded in the extra-dimensional Mirror. Due to the adverse effects of viewing the framework hull has on the human Psyche, and other dangerous phenomenon resulting from Mirror/Slowspace interaction, the framework hulls are not allowed to transition.

Lens Weavers are considered to be fully sentient class 5 intelligences, and undergo standard PsiComp training and indoctrination once their avatars are capable of manifestation outside of their framework hulls. 

Lens Weavers are trained to use their Metatek augmentations in order to make the necessary calculations needed to warp local spacetime. Operational capabilities of Lens Weavers are classified at the highest level, for additional information, consult with PsiComp Authority representatives.
